Baseball 101 left vs. right pitcher

Does the pitching arm side correlate with which side a majority of the the hit balls will go. Do left handed pitchers have a more balls hit to right field? Do right handed pitchers have more balls hit to left field?
I assume it also depends on which way the batter is batting. Let's assume for sake of argurment most batters bat right.
